Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how SIA "IDT Media", Reg. No.: 40103659860 (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", "our" or "Velocity Lab"), the company behind Velocity Lab and Magebit, uses, stores and discloses information we collect from you or about you when you visit velocitylab.eu or contact us. Your privacy is important to us and we will take appropriate steps to ensure that the information you provide remains secure. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy, or if you have a complaint, you should first contact us at gdpr@magebit.com, or by writing to us at: Aleksandra Caka 125 - 7, Riga, LV 1011, Latvia.

What do we do with your information?

Personal data means any information relating to you which allows us to identify you, such as your name, contact details, information about your access to our website etc.

When you fill in the contact form on our website, we collect the personal data you give us — your name, e-mail address and your message — to respond to your request, for example to discuss your startup or a potential investment. These data can be used to communicate with you and for potential communication with you in the future (no more than 36 months from the date of receipt).

When you browse our website, we also automatically receive some of your computer's data, including internet protocol (IP) address and browser, in order to troubleshoot technical concerns and maintain website safety and security.

Who receives your information

Enquiries sent through the contact form are delivered to our team's internal messaging workspace (Slack) and stored in a spreadsheet (Google Workspace) so that we can reply and follow up. These providers process the data on our behalf and only for that purpose.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies. We only use storage that is strictly necessary for the website to work: the Cloudflare Turnstile check that protects our contact form from automated abuse, and security measures of our hosting provider (Cloudflare). These are used regardless of consent, because without them the service you asked for cannot be delivered.

Rights related to Data Protection

You have the right to access, correct, update or request deletion of the personal data collected about you. If you change your mind after you contacted us, you may withdraw your consent to the continued use or disclosure of your information at any time by contacting us at gdpr@magebit.com or writing to us at: SIA "IDT Media", Aleksandra Caka 125 - 7, Riga, LV 1011, Latvia.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the appropriate privacy or data protection regulator in your jurisdiction.

Disclosure

You are responsible for any personal data of third parties obtained, published or shared through the contact form on our website and confirm that you have legal basis to provide the data to us. We may disclose your personal data to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.

Security

To protect your personal data, we take reasonable precautions and follow best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed without a legal basis.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and/or clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated.

Legal information

Notice to European Users: this privacy statement has been prepared in fulfillment of the obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) EU 2016/679. In the course of providing the services, we may share your information with our business partners or sub-processors that provide services such as website hosting, information technology and infrastructure provision etc.
